SF Family Fitness Examiner: Make time to eat dinner as a family

We all know the importance of family meal time. I found this great article that once again makes me remember that what we do at Dream Dinners is such a vital service!

"According to research conducted by The National Center on Addiction and Substance Abuse at Columbia University, kids who consistently eat dinner with their families tend to make healthier food choices and are less likely to be overweight simply because parents offer more nutritionally balanced meals. Kids don't usually remind themselves to eat their vegetables, right?
The study points out that kids who regularly eat dinner with their families do better in school and are less likely to smoke, drink alcohol and take drugs."
